Often I read post where people would like to have a web site to use for hosting a blog or photos in communicating with others. FriendsPages is a simple way to accomplish it. It will also allow you to post a resume, links, contact, and a guest book. ( I created another free site at 7h.com and used a Java Script to create a chatroom in it. You can Google for these and copy paste them into the web site. I linked to it at the top of the links page so this site would have its own chatroom and I'll add some other handy things later. ) The bottom link on the links page is where you can get your own free

The articles bar to the left side will allow one to post their blog entries, and the photos bar will provide a galley to upload .jpg photos. It is best to keep the photos at the lowest resolution so they will appear quickly. If you can keep your photos below 40 Kb in size it will work quite well. This means setting your digital camera closer to 1 mega pixel in resolution or your scanner at 72 to 100 dpi. You may wish to edit your photos in the scanner or camera's software's digital dark room so that they are light and clear to assure visibality to the visitors who view them. The Articles bar will allow for readers to read your entries in much the same way as a blog. These entries can contain a date with the title so viewers will be assured of it's date of entry.
